Isipathana College – Five-Story Academic Building

Sparkle Design Center was engaged to deliver the complete electrical and lighting design for a new five-story academic building at Isipathana College, equipped with modern learning and support facilities. The building includes classrooms, a library, an ICT laboratory, an auditorium, and several essential student and staff support areas.

Scope of Work
Our team provided end-to-end design solutions for:

Electrical distribution and lighting systems and small power systems
ELV systems, including CCTV surveillance, Public Address (PA) system, and structured data network
Emergency power design, focused on supplying only essential loads, including the auditorium’s critical functions

Lighting & Daylight Integration
A key design highlight is the effective use of daylight harvesting, thoughtfully integrated with the architectural concept by IDEE CA (Pvt) Ltd.
This approach enhances energy efficiency while ensuring visual comfort.
We achieved a combined lighting level of 300–500 lux across classrooms—ideal for focused learning and reading activities.
